David Cox
Chief Executive Officer
David Cox is an Executive Chef with over 20 years’ experience in airline catering, convention centres, events and fine dining. Previously Executive Chef at Stix Catering (Sydney) overseeing Qantas and Etihad Airlines First and Business Class and Macquarie Bank’s in-house catering. David founded QA Chef to solve problems in catering and make chefs’ lives easier.

Andy Palmer
Chief Technology Officer
Andy Palmer has over two decades of experience in highly technical industries, from high-availability systems in telecommunications to financial institutions handling millions of transactions per day.
Having been a guest lecturer at Oxford and Reading Universities and with his technical expertise being key to the capture and conviction of a serial killer, he leverages a great range of skills as Chief Technology Officer at QA Chef.

Werner Kimmeringer
Adviser – Global Catering
Werner Kimmeringer is a world-renowned airline and hotel catering specialist with over 40 years at Executive Chef level. Being experienced in virtually every facet of airline catering and logistics means he brings huge value to the team. He ensures that our products are developed with the operational requirements of clients around the globe in mind.

Joe Schmetzer
Head of Engineering
Joe has 25 years of software experience, having worked on critical projects at the core of banking operations that process billions of dollars in trades. He takes his expert knowledge of modern cloud-based applications’ design and operation and applies it to QA Chef, with particular emphasis on robust agile and DevOps practices.

Philip Johnson
Chief Strategy Officer
With over 30 years of financial, operational and entrepreneurial experience in roles ranging from Managing Director of Silicon Valley Bank to investor, adviser and mentor to companies in China, Philip has played a vital role in helping emerging technology companies be successful.
As Chief Strategy Officer at QA Chef, Philip is responsible for leading the business’s corporate development and client engagement and international expansion strategy.
